So…ChatGPT will answer the way it is told to answer, since the corpus will be mainly dictated by news corps.

Whomever owns the likeness of Vin Diesel will collect for that. And if there are movies produced by AI, and the AI didn’t use the official corpus, people will get sued…until AI starts being trained on the AI generated Vin Diesels, I guess, at which point, OpenAI will start collecting in a similar manner as Universal or Paramount.

I hadn’t considered that in regards to entertainment it’s definitely an interesting dilemma. I’d imagine this would really impact text to video models like hugging face and the one introduced by Meta recently.

This is my biggest concern with these models. We won’t know how to find the best way to deal with how disruptive it can be to many industries that what is adopted is just a slightly changed form of the exploitative practices that already exist.
