Is libreboot compatible with the thinkpad t430?If so does it have IME or no?I saw on the official page it said it supported T400 and T400s so does that mean anything from T400 to T500 is supported?

I have a X200 laptop with Libreboot, 8 GB of RAM and a x86_64 Debian 10 installation.

Yes, the maximum amount of RAM an x220 can hold is 8 GB (2x 4GB), if I recall correctly.

Unfortunately, no, Libreboot is not compatible with the x230, however you can install Retroboot (now known as OSboot), or just compile Coreboot without any binary blobs.

T430 is also incompatible with Libreboot, however if you own a T430 you can send it over to them and they'll install Retroboot for you. https://retrofreedom.com/product/libreboot-installation-service/
