Just released this code that can help you to control your Mastodon server bills and donations and even share them with your users by posting your current financial status.

Oh, nice. This will only work with Mastodon so far? Would be cool if it could be expanded to a more general solution for any kind of community run ActivityPub service (incl. Lemmy).

It works with Mastodon only thanks to that excellent wrapper, Mastodon.py for Python. Not sure if there are Python wrappers for other fediverse projects.

Maybe this: https://github.com/autogestion/pubgate ?

Edit: looks like it supports extensions, so maybe you could turn your app into an extension for Pubgate and that way also get stuff like posting to Telegram or a blog etc.
