One of the most underrated games in Early Access right now. I am not even a big city building fan, but their cadence of updates and novel take on the genre has sparked an understanding of the entire genre for me, and I cannot get enough!
I am generally very skeptical of early access games because I've been burned before but Eremite games have really set a new standard with AtS. Regular biweekly updates, in-depth blog posts about the development or their reasoning behind major changes, constant presence on discord and willingness to discuss the game, twitch pre-release streams... I have no idea how such a small studio manages to pull all of this off, but they are really quite something and the game is truly amazing.
When I played it a few months ago, it felt complete enough to get a full release. I didn’t run into any major issues, and there was plenty to do.
