My feelings about the current headphones I use

  • Sony WH-1000XM3, I use these in my office - good noise cancellation, comfy, a little warm, wonderful battery life
  • Apple airpods pro - I use these while on the move, commuting, running, etc. I find the spatial audio thing unnecessary, the noice cancellation is ok, but isolation is not so strong, Sony are better for flying. They are great, but I tend to misplace them...
  • AudioTechnica ATH-M50X - to listen to and create music, comfy wired cheap, better audio quality than any of the above.

Also using the 1000xm3s and I love them. Except for one thing which is the drop in quality when using the microphone. Anyone know if that was fixed in the xm4/xm5?
