Light-hearted romance novels for my mother. (lemm.ee)

My mother has asked me to find her some romance novels. She wants something which isn't overly heavy or gnarly (i.e no violence or rape scenes). Just sweet fun romance. Can you recommend anything? Thanks!

Modern or historical? Do you know what authors she enjoyed in the past?

Penny Reid's Winston Brothers series I recall being light hearted.

I don't think she's too fussed about setting. She asked me to put some romance novels on her ereader, so I got a bunch of highly rated ones but then she came back to me saying they had been too violent! Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them out :)

Maybe just the first couple of books, the second to last book deals with domestic abuse (father to son). I think they allude to off screen in the earlier books as background details.

Sorry, I remembered more of the series as I was scrolling through my read books.

Oh, there's Kate Clayborn's Beginners Luck. Contemporary with a little home reno thrown in. That was very sweet, no violence.
