The people who make writefreely are saying that they are working on making image uploads possible for self-hosted instances, not just their own at write.as. Currently if you are self-hosting you can insert an image but it must be hosted elsewhere and inserted via a markdown link.

There are different ideas about the purpose of imprisonment but the ones I'm aware of are exclusion, deterrence, punishment and rehabilitation. The second two are predicated on prison being worse than freedom, which obviously doesn't hold for people in a lot of situations. In fact I've heard of people comitting minor crimes so they can be let into prison.
Unless prisons can get really good at rehabilitation then the only way they can be effective is if life outside of prison is healthy and prosperous.
I hear that jobs in astronomy don't pay like they used to.
Nobody who hung out with Epstein should be in important jobs because a) they were abusing underage girls and b) Epstein was producing kompromat by filming/photographing it, turning all these people into Russian assets. That goes for Trump too btw.

Plus, it takes time to have a political impact. If you are burnt out from just getting by you're basically not going to do it. One of the main reasons that rich people have more influence is because they are paying other people to clean and maintain their stuff, cook their meals and mind their children. They have time on their hands, and headspace.
Just saw on Mastodon that the Resynthesizer plugin will be ready to use with GIMP 3.0
Along with other third-party plugins developed for GIMP, like G'MIC and BIMP, Resynthesizer is so integral to our workflows that it's easy to forget that it's not part of the core project.
I would love to know how you get on with this.
