You do realize that we are talking about our starting QB right now, right? And the guy that was our franchise QB for the last 9 years. Some of you "fans" are a fucking trip.
JMD publically dumped Carr and made him sit out a games - stabbed him in the chest for all to see, the message being YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY FOR ME, GET OUT OF MY LOCKERROOM. A number assignment after that, really amounts to nothing unless you're looking to be offended on Carr's behalf.
In the mind of JMD, it might have been a smart power move to show the team that things have moved on, might have been a fuck you to Carr, might have been what AOC wanted, might have just been the number available at the time, might have been done to cause trouble by a staffer. We don't know, and I don't care.
