No. No need to drop the interim tag until the end of the season. Let’s see how it plays out against starting QBs then we can start to wonder if the interim tag could be dropped

If Mark is smart, even if AP loses those games he should give him a contract. It'd be a good time to reinvigorate the locker room if they're coming out of two losses. Show of support for AP and security to know he's there to rebuild the culture and the identity of The Raiders.

Bisaccia had my vote last time…yet Davis went ahead and made that irrelevant. AP will get my vote. I think Davis will consider the opportunity if the Raiders have a winning season.

No matter how successful AP is this season, Mark Davis will likely do his due diligence and vet outside hires before handing him the job. edit: even if it's just for the optics so Mark can say he double-checked and there was no one better for the job. It's also better for AP to say he went through the formal HC hiring process and emerged as the best candidate.

I don’t understand what changes between now and the end of the season. AP\Champ inherited a team JMD/Ziegler put together, and the players are obviously invested in their new coach. IMO AP and Champ keep their titles, instead of getting some retreads. I think primary focus is on AOC and Bo, and I’m rooting for both of ‘em.

Are you asking if it becomes official? Because it wouldn't become official until after the season even if he wins the Super Bowl. Is it enough to guarantee it happens after the season? No. He needs to have a winning record. Mark is going to consider him if we look respectable from here on out, but for him to be the favorite we have to at least have a winning record, probably make the playoffs.
