Myles Jack hates Canadians confirmed

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Myles Jack's like "fire Canada and I'm back"

Eagles Legend

Wonder why he didn't want to play in East Pennsylvania? Didn't want to learn the game plan, or didn't want to deal with the pressure of playing on a playoff team.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

If I remember correctly, he wasn’t gonna be a starter.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I wouldn’t wanna live in Philly neither

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

There's East PA, then there's Jersey.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Neat, we need ILB depth so I don't have a problem with this

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

He couldn’t crack our starting LB lineup. Don’t know how excited you should be. OUR LBs.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Well 2 things. We have a ton of injuries at LB and DB. And he signed to the practice squad not the active rooster.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Considering both starting ILB are out for the year and Minkah is still out anything can help solidify the middle of the field.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly, I'd rest Minkah Fitzpatrick until the game in Seattle.

If you don’t want Morrow on the team anymore send him back.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He’s one of the best that we got, so no chance. But we used to have good linebackers (back when that was all we had, we did have DeMeco Ryans AND Jordan Hicks at the same time).

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Depth? We need this man wearing the green dot

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

new offensive coordinator myles jack

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Dude heard the news and called the Steelers himself

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

SMH we should get some sort of compensation here.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly though I thought he’s still technically under contract with the Eagles?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He was out, but he wasn't down.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

He's been hired as the new OC.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

How come he don't want us, man?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Already booked vacation to Cancun in January

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Goddamn, I’m just tryin to have tacos over here.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The Steelers need him more than the Eagles do. Both ILBs for the Steelers suffered season-ending injuries in consecutive games.

Nice Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reference, by the way.

Myles Jack sounds like the name you'd give to a bad ass linebacker in a movie. Born to play the role

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Patrick Willis

NaVorro Bowman

Both sound like straight up Hollywood names as well

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Fun little fact, he was a running back from pee-wee to high school, and he was a great runningback, but an even better linebacker/saftey

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He’s up there with Cooper Rush on the list of football movie character names

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Slightly unrelated but Usain Bolt is still the greatest sports name of all time.

Also partial to Andrew Luck

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Pitt Panthers had a LB named H.B. Blades always thought that was a great name for a LB

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Not that I really care about losing Jack but I find it weird players can un-retire the same year they retire. Couldn’t this cause some contractual loopholes under certain circumstances?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

The Eagles could have kept his rights and taken him back on the team, from my understanding. Jack likely reached out to them, said he wanted to join the Steelers, and the Eagles did him a solid to waive him from the retired list. I don't think the Eagles do that if he said he wanted to join the 49ers or Cowboys.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Good. Elandon Roberts can’t make every play though he tries.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Better OC than Matt Canada

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Isn’t that the guy who was down?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

fun fact: he wasn't down

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

You know you’ve gotten older when a player you distinctively remember getting drafted is now “unretiring”

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Myles Jack is no longer down

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

“One last ride”.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Wasnt even aware he retired

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

A warm body

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

I'll sign on one condition: fire Matt Canada.
Done!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Aww what did we do wrong

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)
