I have one in my living room where my router is, and another in the room adjacent to the living room. Does something need to be connected into the coaxial in the living room in order to connect to the one in the bedroom, which I can then use a split to get a wired connection going into my computer?

“MoCA” allows you to repurpose legacy coax tv cabling for computer networking.
