Yes between the fall of Rome and the discovery of the New World nothing happened. Europe was just very demure, very mindful

For anyone who doesn’t know that’s Cockney rhyming slang. Cup of Rosy Lee rhymes with Cup of Tea. But they often omit the last word so it becomes a Cup of Rosy.

Another one is Apples which is slang for stairs. Since the full rhyming slang is Apples and Pears.

But just enduring the current job also comes with a risk even in a country with strong labor laws. Not changing jobs comes with stagnation of skills and wages. I’ve heard plenty of stories of loyal employees who worked the same job for decades but who now earn less than the new hires and they are now at a point where switching jobs is hard since their skill set hasn’t improved for years. Risk averse people are also often too afraid to even renegotiate their wages. And bosses know that and exploit that.

Nothing substantial would change since the tires are build to the spec created by the FIA and F1. That’s why for a long time no other tire manufacturer put in a bid for the contract. Because they don’t want their brand be known for the fast degrading F1 tires. When every manufacturer could actually make softs that would last the entire race.
