idk anything but I'd imagine most hormones don't aerosolize very well and burning them would probably change them as well. you could probably get results by vaping them? brains do have a lot of moisture to be evaporated but like. most of it isn't hormones

Trans and nonbinary people have existed for as long as humanity has. Your perception of this "stupidity" as new is the result of people finally overcoming hundreds of years of religious programming; bigotry that has been passed down for generations as superstitious fear anyone presenting in an unfamiliar way, and people are now more willing to express themselves as they actually feel, rather than as they feel they must in order to protect themselves.

Here's a short piece of a lecture by a Stanford professor explaining how wrong you are. https://youtu.be/8QScpDGqwsQ

But how would a user on A find anyone on B before federation? I know Lemmy can initiate federation through the search function just in case you're the first to look for something on another instance, but I don't see how that would work on Masto.

On desktop there should be a small "about" link in the bottom left, from which there is a "moderated servers" dropdown menu where you can see defederated servers. I don't see anywhere to view the servers you ARE federated with, but if it's listed at ~~Mastodon's official website~~ (whoops, I actually meant this)it's probably in.

I don't see anything on the official Masto app, but that app is just missing a ton of functionality in general.

this is huge! i was 100% resigned to their election going the same way as hungary and turkey's

if they're anything like cable ads, they actually make the ads louder than the regular programming on purpose to try to make sure you hear it if you tune out or just walk away. no relaxed, unfocused watching for you!

They certainly help but not all trucks have them, at that point you're dealing with 3 different mirrors on each side between the fisheye, regular, and separate overhead mirror, and there are still little spots that are hard to keep an eye on. Stack that on top of drivers doing the same monotonous task for 10+ hours a day and you're really better off just staying out of their blind spots as best you can

When I did driver's ed they actually got a semi cab and had us all sit in it so we could see exactly how the blind spots work, even with fish eye mirrors. The cab is so high up you'd have to crane your neck to see most cars down there.

Utter tragedy. The worst part about this "discovery" is that we knew it was coming; I've been reading scientists' warnings about how changing ocean temperatures would cause food chain collapses for decades. More to come...

Blindfold? I've used an Oculus and an Index and finding your balance is very easy. I can't balance on one leg for more than a couple seconds with my eyes closed but have no problems when watching through the headset. I could see a yoga app being very useful if it allows you to observe the pose without needing to crane your neck.

Even those "notables" still show up on the fediverse tracker, so they shouldn't be going uncounted.
