I think that's what people are looking at and mistaking. He's not handsome and chiseled. But he's still a professional athlete with a lifetime of work put in to this. He's not a random dude that never played football before and went to an open workout one day and wound up on the team.

Most new coaches would not retain the old staff, especially if they served as an interim head coach. They don't want a divided locker room. And with that said, now think about how insecure Josh McDaniels is and how fragile his ego is. There's no way he would retain a well liked member of the previous staff.
I don't agree with what I'm about to say but I think it's the truth: all of them. He's going to have to go on some kind of miraculous run to keep the job. I think Mark Davis will want to make a big splashy hire and unless AP does something truly unheard of he isn't keeping the job. For me personally I love what I've seen as far and if he could win maybe two and at least play the Dolphins and Chiefs competitively I would keep him on board.
