Every few generations? The FDIC paid out for bank failures in 2008!

"Mandrake, have you never wondered why I drink only distilled water, or rain water, and only pure-grain alcohol Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation. Fluoridation of water? Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face?
I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion, and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids!"

I use Kopia to backup to Backblaze B2. I also use the Kopia UI since I can't be bothered to figure out the cli for it. I have it running constantly in the background so it automatically takes care of everything.
I averaged data from 2016 to 2022. What am I cherry picking?
Airplanes aren't as safe as trains!
In the US, air travel is safer by an order of magnitude. According to the National Safety Council, scheduled airlines have a passenger fatality rate per 100,000,000 miles of 0.001 while rail has a fatality rate of 0.025. Hell, busses are safer with a fatality rate of 0.0066.
I'm sure rail safety is probably better in Europe and Japan since they have better rail infrastructure and more passengers.
A /r/dataisbeautiful post from several years ago also shows a similar story.
I never squash spiders. They're either my buddies and they catch insects that get into the house, or they're entirely too large to squash; they'd make a mess. If my wife sees a spider and gets scared, I put it outside. It helps that there are no (common) venomous spiders where I live.
Mosquitos, crane flies, flies, and wasps are all fair game though.
Ya know, the Kennedy's haven't had too much luck with their noggins.
Shot in the head, shot in the head, lobotomy, brain cancer, brain worms, etc.
H5N1 has a 90% to 100% fatality rate in chickens according to the CDC. Either the chickens are killed by farmers before the virus spreads more, or the virus will kill the chickens.
For some reason "dildo" is way funnier than "you dildo". Thanks for the laugh
~~Trader Joe's is a subsidiary of Aldi. I'm not sure how that relationship works in regards to labor relations, but if this person wants to avoid Trader Joe's for moral reasons, they might want to avoid Aldi too. ~~
I was wrong, they're different companies that split from the same original company. Thanks for the corrections.
There's no way it's intentional. If you're not familiar with the phrase "white power" in a racist context, the product description is perfectly accurate and reasonable. It took me a few seconds to figure out the problem, so if someone is unfamiliar then there's no way they'll identify the problem.
