The United Nations general assembly has backed a resolution drafted by Ukraine and the European Union condemning Russia on the third anniversary of its full-scale invasion, spurning a rival US resolution reflecting Donald Trump’s split with Europe and growing union with Vladimir Putin.

The United States, Russia, Belarus and North Korea all voted against the EU-Ukrainian resolution underlining an extraordinary shift in US policy since the US president’s election that has largely absolved the Russian president of responsibility for the invasion.

In the vote, 93 countries supported the joint European resolution that named Russia an aggressor state and called on it to remove its troops from Ukraine, while 18 countries including the US and Russia voted against.

If you flatten the roll before putting it on the roller the kink prevents kitter-spinnies. This lets you put it on the right way 😋

President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Feb. 24 he had provided U.S. President Donald Trump with a list of all ceasefires violated by Russia, warning against a quick peace deal without clear security guarantees.

This announcement was made by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch, and Minister of Education Johan Pehrson.

Under this package, Stockholm will transfer Robot 70 and Tridon Mk2 systems to Ukraine.

European leaders and other partners are arriving in Kyiv for a summit to discuss the country's strategy for possible negotiations and security guarantees

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urged U.S. President Donald Trump to ensure any peace agreement for Ukraine includes security guarantees and prevents further Russian aggression.

During a Feb. 22 phone call, Trudeau emphasized that any deal must not be seen as appeasement by Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that it could lead to future land grabs in eastern Europe and the Baltics

me reading your comment: 😪 Can I just get a non-MS win10 alternative that isn't exactly like moving to a new country requiring I learn a new language and culture?

Summary

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated he is willing to resign if it ensures peace or NATO membership for Ukraine.

"If it is peace for Ukraine, and if you really want me to leave my post, I’m ready," he said. "Alternatively, I can trade this for NATO membership... I’m focusing on Ukraine’s security today, not in 20 years."

His comments come amid tensions with Donald Trump, who falsely suggested the Ukrainian president was responsible for starting the war.

Meanwhile, U.S.-Russia negotiations continue without Ukraine, which Zelenskyy firmly rejects. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of Ukrainian involvement in any peace negotiations.

Ukraine plans to end the war this year with a just peace, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said at the Ukraine: Year 2025 conference in Kyiv on Feb. 23.

Sybiha noted that this is the goal of President Volodymyr Zelensky and told partners that “it is time to fasten our diplomatic seat belts” and “not give in to emotions.”

“We are convinced that we really have a chance to end the war this year,” Sybiha said.

Scam BS. My riding doesn't have a Liberal candidate but says to vote for them.

Is it just me, or does this agreement sound like weak sauce? 8% over 3 years? That's barely keeping up with 'ideal' inflation let alone if it jumps again.

Is this on top of a COLA clause or something?

I'd add that to the first point that (and sort of answers the question in the 2nd) that the goal is to use this data to make associations and inferences to better get a picture of who the user is and what their experiences are.

An emphasis on a lack of control as to what data is collected should be emphasized. Take the FB shadow accounts for users that don't even sign up. Much of your data is provided freely (mostly unwittingly) by people you associate with or simply are proximal too.

It sounds like my old place. So long as you don't have a corner unit you're not being heated. You're being sheltered from the cold by the surrounding units. The baseboard heaters are only there to touch up if you crack a window or something.
