That's an interesting method but I usually use a knife to slice it off and eat it with a spoon.

Unless I want to splash corn on everyone at the dinner table.

This has to be it. At first I thought it was foreshadowing of the meta meeting. Thank God it's just a little humour!

Here are the screenshots showing the wrong post issue I described in paragraph 2. Forgive me, I am not a smartphone Picasso.

Edit: OK, the main post screenshot shows the thread I clicked about Jerboa. This screenshot shows the improperly loaded post, with all the correct comments talking about Jerboa and other apps.

Can someone possibly cross-post this to lemmy.world in their support community or something? I've also been having issues replying to things all day.

To clarify, I thought I'd been mis-clicking when a page with sport stats would load. Then today I noticed all the comments were of the right post I wanted to see, just the post itself was wrong.

I disagree with defederation when it's due to non-illegal discussion, but I feel Lemmy (and kbin) should have more sane defaults. In a perfect world, no one would defederate but there would only be a whitelist of federated defaults on the main page for each instance so you have to actively go looking for the content in order to see it.

Idiots that make a whole lot more money from the data than the 42k they're paying.

Quotes are often used around a word when it's similar enough to another word to be understood.

Paywalled means you must have an account and pay in order to view an article.

There is no equivalent word that comes to mind for this, but "paywalled" is so close as to be misunderstood only if you're trying to do so -- you must now have an account and login in order to view what's behind the login wall.
