Unless there's a barrier to entry (like a membership at Costco), they can't force you to show your receipt or check your items.

I'm literally, actually crying right now.

The name absolutely matters. Federation blah blah doesn't matter what instance blah blah and all that.

But regular people will flock to a "normal" or "official" sounding name and url. I won't be surprised if lemmy.world becomes the defacto instance

Terrible name. Call it something like Gamepipe instead.

Nice post, but can we get back to talking about Rampart?

Jerboa is as well.

And in several years, electric or hybrid vehicles will be the majority.

I know we'll need a new car sometime in the near year, and I've already set at minimum to get a hybrid.

Yes. Haven't sorted out the sub yet, but that's the end goal.

Think I may just leave the subs I moderate down for longer, then.

Was the CD drive stock to these? Early 90s seems early to have them. Must have been expensive!

That makes way more sense!

The only roadblock I see is how difficult it is to follow communities outside your main instance. It would be nice if there was a log-in-as option so you can easily subscribe if you come across a page that isn't a part of your instance. Right now you have to either search it on your main, or copy the url over (which I've seen doesn't work all the time, but could be because of server load.)

I've noticed the site failing to load pages, or just generally slow.

Edit: For example, this reply took a fairly long time to submit.
