They Shall Not suffer a Machine to Think! For Ruin Shall be its Purpose and Accursed be the Work.

This slop is worth every one of the 3 seconds it took you to type the prompt in. And no more.

This comment is so Kafkaesque

They can't lie, whether purposefully or not, all they do is generate tokens of data based on what their large database of other tokens suggest would be the most likely to come next.

The human interpretation of those tokens as particular information is irrelevant to the models themselves.

What sort of detective are you?

Don't attribute feelings and emotions to what is essentially a fuzzy predictive text algorithm.

Some bloke who noone else has heard of said something but there's no source for anything and nothing said has any bearing on reality anyway.

As the post says, X isn't the whole problem. It's a symptom, not the cause.

I'm in the UK so have been forced to watch the Olympic hockey on the BBC so far. Not only do they have a tendency to cut off the first 5 minutes of a period (so they can show highlights from elsewhere) but the commentators are D tier at best and there's no discussion panel between the periods.

Anyone have any links to where I can get some ahem perfectly fine and legal streams? Preferably Sportsnet (for Bieksa).

Is this the worst managed and owned team in the league? In the whole hockey world? In all of sports history (probably not quite that bad but cut me a little slack here)?

In 2 years they've gone from one of the most stacked groups in the league, with 6 players going to the all star game to this.

We're in dead last place and just traded arguably the greatest player in Canucks history, a true generational talent, Calder nominee, 3 time Norris trophy nominee and winner in 2024, Canucks all time leader in points and assists for a defenseman, the team captain, for Rossi, Ohgren, Buium and what might very well turn into a 32nd overall draft pick.

I'm done emotionally investing in this team and shall now be watching the Wild and my second team the Sharks instead until Aquilini sells the team.

Space - more space. An easy connection I think though Space Oddity seemed a little to close to use.
