The MPPTs have been recommended to me, as I will have different strings of panels from different brands and power ratings. I was thinking of buying a Can to RS485 cable and see if it works with the current BMS, but I was looking for some information first. Regarding the type of batteries, I have added them to the post.

For a future-proof, safer, and smarter setup, upgrading to a CANBus- or RS485-enabled BMS that speaks Modbus or Victron CAN protocol is highly recommended. It makes system integration smoother and battery life longer.

That's mainly why I was asking, because they have released some new BMS from Jk V19 or something like that, which seem to be able to connect through these protocols. The one I'm using has a connection via Can, but I don't really know what functionality they have. I can buy the V19 ones, but i don't want if it is not necessary to because i can save money.

Hello. I recently bought an off-grid house with its own solar system. So I'm learning little by little. Right now, I have a Voltronic Axpert VMIII inverter connected to two battery banks. These battery banks have 16 batteries each, totaling 32 batteries (LiFePO4). Each bank has a BMS model JK B2A20S20P. There is no communication between this inverter and the BMS; everything works based on voltages, meaning I have told the inverter what voltage it should have. I am going to upgrade my installation with more panels, a Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100 inverter, a Victron Cerbo GX MK2, a VICTRON MPPT 250/100-Tr VE.Can, a VICTRON MPPT 250/70-Tr VE.Can, and some other things that I don't think are important right now. My doubts arise about whether it will be possible to connect the BMS of the battery banks to the Victron system so that it can manage the batteries correctly, or if it is better to buy new BMS that do allow this. What do you think?

If I should buy a new BMS, which one do you recommend for this case?

Thank you very much!

Edit: Added type of batteries Edit2: I'm from Spain

The GrapheneOS team says that Fairphone is bad, not secure and something about a scam. Can somebody explain?

CoMaps, i transform Gmaps locations to OSM with GeoShare. Both in Fdroid/Droidify.

Oh no, unexpected

I saw a meme about something of fake frames, but i don't know what happened.

Hello. I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S with LineageOS, rooted with Magisk. When I open the Kia Connect app, it tells me that I cannot use it because my phone is rooted. In Magisk, I have the Play Integrity Fix module and Zygisk Assistant installed. What I usually do when this happens is mark the app in the Magisk deny list, but even when I do that for this app, it still detects the root. How can I fix this? Thank you very much.

Hello, I hope this is the right community to ask this. I have a flight in December from Valencia (Spain) to Tokyo with Air France. I have a layover in Paris CDG.

The flight from Valencia to Paris arrives at CDG at 08:20 in terminal 2G. And the flight from Paris to Tokyo departs at 9:30 in terminal 2E.

I have been researching and I believe that this is not enough time to make the connection. I contacted Air France and initially they told me that it was not enough time, and they offered me some more expensive alternative flights, which I am not satisfied with, as I would arrive a day later. When I told them that their website states that they are responsible for making the connection possible, they started to say that the connection is indeed possible. I also tried to cancel the flight from Valencia to Paris and take another airline that arrives earlier, but they say that cannot be done without paying, as it is part of the same itinerary.

I don’t have much experience flying, and I would like to know your opinion.

Thank you very much!

Hi.

Are there any similar alternatives to Notewise or Goodnotes? It's for taking notes on a tablet.

Thank you

Hello. If I drag the mouse on the trading charts, everything is filled with lines. Except for the part of the graph, I understand that it is because it is updated at all times. This does not happen with a Chromium browser and happens even if all extensions are disabled. Does anyone have this same problem? Thank you

Hello, yesterday I installed LineageOS 21 on my phone. It seems like everything is working fine, except that when I open a video with the official YouTube app or using ReVanced, after a few seconds, the video image freezes, but the audio continues. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a solution? In the meantime, I'm using Tubular, and it works fine. Thank you

Edit: We have already freed them. We were worried that they were poisonous and something could happen to our dog. Thank you very much to all.

For a few days now, it seems that Ublock is not blocking Twitch ads. Does it happen to you too?

Hello. I would like to switch to Linux, but I also want to play. I have seen that all the games I play can be played on Linux with no problem. But I'm not sure about the distro. I have seen that Nobara is a good option, but before taking the plunge, I would like to know what your experience has been with it. Thank you

What alternatives are there for Google Wallet/Google Pay? If they are OpenSource better.
