That's how it is here in France. It is calculated according to the previous year income, so if you get a raise you'll have to pay a little bit more at the end the following fiscal year, but that's often very little. Last time I got a 2500€ yearly raise, I had to align something like... 100€ 😆.
I I recall well, while Finnish, most of the R&D, and of course the whole manufacturing process, was done in China. That how they got their "Chinese" reputation.
I think it is undeserved, but it is also true that their smartphone got some annoying problems, like a very fragile usb-c port on my now defunct Nokia 8.1.
Problem is that they have a very staunch stance of not allowing closed source software in their repo. And that apply to flatpak repos too. By default only Fedora own Flatpak repo is enabled, with only open-source software. But why repackage OBS, which is already open-source? My guess would be:
- To use Fedora runtime to minimise install size
- To change how the software is compiled, like removing any "not free enough" bits from the build
I agree that there is a genocide going on, I'm just pointing out that it is a bit hypocritical to consider "Death to Israel" as being ok while any other "Death to X" being a call for violence.
Israel has as much right to exist than Palestine. And those who uses violence to further their agenda should be stopped at all cost, no matter the side they are on.
I agree that the employer part should be more automatic, but don't forget it may not the the only income. You can have properties, you can have share and dividends. All that do not happen all at the same time, so it is far easier to calculate on an earlier snapshot than continuously recalculate every time something changes.
