give linux a try! install a recent distro (fedora for exemple, especially if you have a pc with nvidia and optimus) and for exemple : Lutris : it is a breeze to use and play everything I own on gog com and steam so far edit: misspelled lutris

In fact what you call Linux is actually God/Linux or how I like to call it God+Linux. Do you want to share the software in the name of Jesus Christ? in c/linuxmemes@lemmy.world

And if he was a postgresql dev working on linux but employed by the cheesecake factory it would mean that the cheesecake factory saved linux? or was that rather due to that clever dev, and helped by the platform he worked on?
