I think the air force would be authorized to hypothetically shoot your dumb ass out of the sky.

I think it just takes up to a few hours for changes to propagate to all the DNS servers.

My first smartphone was the LG Optimus G. It had a textured pattern on the back that made my other phones look plain by comparison.

I remember that. My dad would get bags of them and put them in the freezer. I eventually got so sick of eating those shitty burgers.

My one hand held some honey-roasted peanuts, my other hand held some dry cat food. Guess which one went into my mouth.

The PS2 version of Shadow of the Colossus still looks great to me.

I don't downvote (At least not intentionally, but if I fall asleep while holding my there can be some accidental taps). Even if something seems somewhat offensive to me.

On the other hand, I don't upvote as much as I think I should.

But then he'd have to lose that sweet-ass chair, and then what kind of life would that be?

I think I'd like to go bigger with it next year.

I enjoy writing software, but...

I'm sick of making yet another fucking CRM.

I'm sick of trying to keep data synced between seven different third-party services.

I'm sick of trying to pull everything in the database into a single fucking dashboard.

I'm sick of trying to stay within a budget that's based on some wild-ass guesstimates made by someone who quit over a year ago.

I'm sick of creating things that will only ever be seen by a couple people in some random companies, and will be enjoyed by nobody.

I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through this process, and what the experience was like. (I'm not asking for help with any particular error or anything like that. At least not yet).

I got put in charge of maintaining an old codebase that includes Xamarin projects for android and ios and we seem to have run into a situation where we need to update the framework not just for security, but to keep the mobile app fully functional as Apple and Google update their APIs.

I did see that there was a button in Visual Studio to automatically upgrade the project, but apparently "upgrade" means "break fuckin' everything" so I'm guessing I'll need to take a more manual approcach and also blow a bunch of hours on finding replacements for all the dependencies that required Xamarin and are no longer maintained.

My biggest problem is that I haven't even heard of Xamarin before this thing got dropped in my lap so I have some confusion about how it's supposed to work on top of my normal baseline amount of confusion.

I figured this might fit here as well...

This was a pretty good one, I think. It has strong Silent Hill vibes and an interesting (though perhaps somewhat confusing) story, and it's also on sale now.

As for the length, I was able to beat the normal difficulty game in under 9 hours.

Just in time for the weekend, I thought I'd share 3 games that I enjoyed, but might have flew under the radar for most people.

I'll start this off with Your Spider, which has only 13 reviews on Steam. It's been a while since I last played it, but I remember liking it much more than I thought I would. Maybe I'm just a sucker for adorable spiders though.

Steam shows it as not supported on Steam Deck, but it seemed to work just fine on mine.

The game focuses more on puzzles than direct combat, and some of the bosses can only harmed by doing specific things in the right order or at the right time.

Next up is Among Ashes with about 184 reviews. It's somewhat short, but ended up being quite good. The "game within a game" concept is a really nice touch. It does a good job at building tension and generally doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares.

And last, while I guess this game isn't classified as a survival-horror game, I'm including 10 Dead Doves here anyway. Because with only 116 Steam reviews so far, it doesn't feel to me like enough people know about it.

I think some of the reviews on Steam do a better job than I ever could of describing what makes this game special. But it's one of the few games I that made me want to play through a second time. Interesting story, some funny moments, emotional moments, good voice acting. I highly recommend this one.

This is at least the second email I got asking to "collaborate" on Google Play. Protect your accounts, folks.

My favorite part is how he addresses it to himself.
