That's a direct quote from every Lemmy user.

Hey @Ruud! Love what you're doing with the instance. Do we know when the downtime will occur?

This would give me so much anxiety. There's a bar in my city that has urinals on three walls in a similar pattern, and I avoid it until I just can't any longer...

There are multiple instances, so people could theoretically be blocked from adding an account on this instance and be required to create an account on another instance. Since it's federated and everyone has access to everything on other servers, it shouldn't be a problem.

Since we've migrated from Reddit, let's start a new speculation thread! Post your theories (no matter how wild) below!

I knew I'd do the same thing, so I removed the shortcut to Reddit on my phone and replaced it with Jerboa.

Lol, imagine your site crashing during it's lowest utilization in years.

Keep fighting the good fight. 💙

I wonder if it's a bug with comment deletion. I just checked the post on my side, and it said 3 comments. However, when I clicked into it I only saw 2, and one of them said it was deleted.

NTA. It sounds like you're clearly starving in a ditch. The community members owe you that $20mil and will absolutely feel a sense of pride and accomplishment once they bail you out of this terrible predicament. Hope you teach those Redditors some respect!

I'm guessing it was something to do with another app hijacking the link or something. Either way, they shouldn't give a shit.

Earlier today, I was reviewing some Lemmy information in Google, and one of the links was to Reddit. I didn't think anything of it, but I clicked and saw the message that's given to mobile users saying you have to view NSFW content in the Reddit app. Fine, I've got the garbage app installed already for situations just like this. I click the link, and it throws an error stating my third party app (Boost, in this case) must be uninstalled in order to open links in Reddit.

No it doesn't, Reddit. And why do you care what's installed on my phone?
