To save you another few clicks: this is the discussion (RfC) that implemented the changes, and the policy is linked at the top.

I don't know, maybe not looking stupid

As cheap as gasoline cars

You can't take out ChromeOS as you can Windows

The result might be an agreement that may not satisfy everyone completely, but indicates the overall concurrence of the group. -- WP:DISCUSSCONSENSUS

What I'm saying is that one idiot disagreeing does not break consensus.

Tip: Calls and SMSs can be done by feature-phone. Advanced texting can be done through Matrix or XMPP which I believe works on Linux.

And wearing a feature phone (if it's small) and another phone isn't a million miles away.

Windows is not at the top of corporate possibly because it can be installed on non-homologated PCs.

actually, some websites do sell pixels with grapheneos preinstalled, for example, https://shop.nitrokey.com/shop/category/smartphone-tablet-4

The defense budget is very overblown, but some is actually needed for not getting ragged around.

"Scammers" also exist on the Play Store. Google should start by cleaning it up.

AI datacentres hope to last forever.

There are more probabilites that Trump dies of disease or old age than that he is assassinated.

I can't settle on a new smartwatch, so I'm asking for recommendations. I don't want to pay more than 50 euros for it, but I just want it to tell the time and steps accurately without connecting to an app, and a long battery life. Everything else is extra, but nice to have.

The biggest offender is https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/63725896, because Discord having links to Palantir has no connection to promoting european-made products. But I think this community will be filled with news despising big tech very soon, so I propose a preemptive ban.

What I don't get here is why tne couldn't be retraesmitted to YouTube starting tnis or next year? Is it because of licensing?

Also interested in your opinion of the move from ABC.

For example, when I play RPGs that allow you to rename characters (like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy), I usually keep the default name.

Why? Well, I don't want to think of a name in first place. But it also gets confusing when looking at guides.

On third place, and this is more how I like to play games, I don't feel it is fair to take their name out of these characters to replace it with one that represents them less.

Do you do this too, or am I the odd one?

In 1.4.5, you'll be able to craft from nearby chests. And the guide recipe help receives a new interface. Launch window is still December-January

The most important thing about this State of the Game (Yes, I do realise it's 22 November)

With all of that said, we are realistically looking at a launch window for Terraria 1.4.5 that is between mid December and the end of January.

I expect this community will have a flurry of activity at that time, maybe for good.

Hello guys, today I wanted to talk about a project I deeply care about and I'm actively contributing to, as I believe its good for everyone, including privacy concerned users

Ladybird Browser

This browser comes from the project "SerenityOS", and has since evolved and separated from it. The founders are Andreas Kling, and Chris Wanstrath. The main goal of this project is to create a browser from scratch, avoiding chromium, gecko, etc. The main keypoints that should be of interest for Privacy Oriented Users are the following:

  • Ladybird lead (Andreas Kling) states "We're not monetizing users, in any way. This is uncharted territory for browsers. So we're not going to do any default search deals. We're not going to do cryptocurrencies or try to monetize user data, just sponsorships and donations"

  • While** Ladybird will implement current web standards including cookie handling and tracking mechanisms for compatibility**, the browser's philosophy puts the user in control of these decisions, not the company. The browser won't have built-in incentives to encourage data collection since it doesn't profit from it.

  • It aims to be "free from advertising's influence" Ladybird, representing a shift away from the current web ecosystem where users like us are the product. This allows the project to implement privacy features without worrying about harming advertising partners or revenue streams.

As of now, the project has hired several developers with money coming from donations, from partners such as FUTO, Shopify, Cloudflare, among many, and is also seeing lots of volunteer activity on github. So well, if you like the web having more diversity and us having another alternative to google, check them out https://ladybird.org/

Edit: This only refers to costs (paid by the manufacturers), not fees (paid for by the buyers).

Misleading title (the one on the news article): Firefox added multiple chatbots, and only on nightlies.

So, for context, I'm looking to buy a CMF Phone (undecided between the 1 and the 2 Pro, but that's beside the point) and it isn't on the main electronics stores, and I am obviously not going to buy from Amazon or Miravia (Alibaba). So I stumbled by this shop by chance, and there it was, both of them, with multiple offers.

Anyways, my question is, is the site trusted by the folks here in !buyeuropean@feddit.uk (for some info on it, the internet claims it was founded in 2011 in Totana, Murcia, Spain and that it operates mossly online apart from store there).
