I agree with this, I have no problem with Lemmy.one disabling downvotes for its communities, but it's frustrating not to be able to have the option in external communities which allow downvoting.
A friend of mine will deliberately not watch the last episode(s) of certain TV shows because they don't want them to end. I don't really get it personally, but I guess some people really are afraid of finishing a show because it's too good!
