brb going to go tell 我's handful of trans friends that 我 is a transphobe and that 我 can no longer be friends with them because 我 now magically hate them, all due to 我's low view of gendered language.

Yeah 我 thought 我 was an ally and 我 was very happy to be friends with and chat with trans people, but turns out their flavour of "ally" is a bit too strong for 我, so 我 guess 我 is a transphobe now.

Won't be interacting further than this post on this account, btw.

我’s second-person pronoun is "你". In this case, you should use "你 sound like my microagressing dad."

I'd just keep it simple. It's a YouTube video, not a college essay.

What about names? If I decide then and there not to use pronouns at all, and instead refer to that person by name, how would that weigh?

How about "that person" or "that user"?
