Can search for serial debug devices too. I don’t know much about flipper zero but that’s one hacking device that’s possible but like $170 so other options cheaper but flipper might be easiest to use?

Tx/Rx are transmit and receive in rs232 serial. Can buy a usb to serial cable and connect to a PC and talk to it that way (might have to hack together the right connector or even down to individual wires if it’s screw terminals in the pcb. There’s usb to rs232 that’s just wires no 2nd connector). Can then send / receive serial commands / data to the pcb and . These serial ports are usually left only for debugging or flashing new firmware etc. The commands and returned data will be in ASCII hexadecimal or something and you’ll need to know which means which from a manual or guide but there’s possibly some common ones that might work if can’t. There’s websites that have old manuals. I found one for my fridge that’s 20 years old
