since most federation happens over the backend, you could access an instance based outside the usa through tor.

Is misskey popular there? They are planning on federating channels (groups) which could make them join able on lemmy.

Oracle probably makes more money from the dmca than their actual products tbh.

 

I have seen some people complaining about it, but I think its useful.
