And this is happening after SPF, DKIM and DMARC provided a solution to the spam problem.

Any mail system can remove practically all spam by insisting messages conform to those three standards

But that is not true at all. Spammers can easily send mail with all proper SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and signatures. A lot of spam is and will be sent like that. Those extensions do not make spam impossible, they just make it easier to track and block.

But this does not change the point of the article – in this case it is a specific domain sending very specific non-spam messages. SPF/DKIM/DMARC prove it is not someone else – GMail has no ground for blocking these (unless were are not told something).

And GMail has been breaking mail for years now. E.g. I hate them for breaking message threading by ignoring threading headers and forcing own view on how messages should be grouped.

Oxygen Not Included. Now on a much more powerful PC than all previous times – maybe I won't have to abandon my duplicants when I get to the third asteroid and things get too laggy.

Additionally to all the correct answers, a 'port' can also mean something completely different 'in networking'.

It can be a physical socket in a network equipment, like 'Ethernet port'. Or it can be a virtual equivalent of such, e.g. when connecting virtual machines on a host - that could be called a 'logical port'.

Those can sometimes be used interchangeably with 'interface' or 'device', but it depends on convention used in particular system or environment.

Google would probably like to take over the user generated content somehow. If people can find it on Google even when it is not available on Reddit then it is pure profit for Google. They already provide a lot of information on their search pages bypassing the sources. Google is not our friend. Not any more.

Maybe it is some kind of automated rule 'block bots that cause lots of traffic'. kbin is becoming more and more significant, so it probably causes some non-insignificant load on Lemmy servers. Legitimate load, but the IDS rules would not know that.

Before SteamOS could become a thing Valve made HUGE effort to make Linux useful for gaming. All the games everyone can now easily play on any x86 Linux distribution - that was possible, in a big part, by Valve efforts. Driver improvements, compatibility layers (not just Proton, but also improvements in the upstream wine), etc.
And they do continue the improvements, not just for their own Linux systems.

Most trash is burnt in atmosphere when the one-way supply ships are disposed (de-orbited in a controlled way). Some waste samples are probably brought down for examination.
