we dont even know if he actually did it.

That's kind of the point of the trial. Of course I don't trust he'll be given a fair one. The USA isn't really keen on that when they really want to punish someone for something.

Ideally those who have the vaccine would be protected from the contagion that might come from the anti-vax next door.

I'm very worried for those who are Immunocompromised or those that can not get the vaccine for whatever reason. When the next plague comes, these are the people I will be supporting and trying to help.

I think what you fail to understand is many of us spent unlimited hours trying to explain vaccines, masks, washing hands, social distancing, etc to these people during covid and all it did was get them to double down on their anti-social behaviour. I even had a few spit at me.

So yeah, fuck these asshole cunts. They put all of us in danger.

There are a lot of people in the US living in food desert areas. Dollar stores are the only thing around. They're the main general store for the town.

Many of the people living in these areas don't have the means to take a 40-60 minute drive on a weekly basis to the next larger town with proper grocery stores.

How long do you personally choose to argue with a flat earther?

The evidence is there. The math isn't that hard and they can do it themselves to prove a round earth. There are a few simple experiments they can do to prove it. They consciously choose to ignore everything and believe something provably incorrect.

If someone is mentally deficient, or had a learning disability, that's one thing. I'm not talking about these people. I'm talking about the flat earther type (or anti-vax, or tribalism MAGA nut) who chooses to go against simple science.

Oh man. I remember Solaris. I tried to install that on something and never got it running.

Over the last 40 years I've used Mac, Windows and various Linux desktops as well as the Atari desktop called GEM (used it in an early music studio), Amiga and BeOS. Probably a few more over the years.

I always go back to Windows because it has support for pretty much everything I throw at it and the OS isn't as bad as nerds want you to believe. Yeah, it crashes and gets unstable from time to time, but EVERYTHING does.

I liked the original Star Wars when I was like 10. I was older when the 2nd one came out and that was ok-ish. I was in my teens when the teddy bear Star Wars movie came out and I thought that was the dumbest fucking shit ever.

I'm ok with this.

We've known about vaccines, germ theory, and virus for quite some time now. If they want to kill themselves because they choose to not follow the science, so be it. I'm tired of having this conversation with the wilfully and proudly ignorant tomato soup brained infants.

A year ago, this Canadian would have felt a need to help our neighbours.

Right now, this Canadian is laughing and waving my bare ass in a southerly direction.

This is what you voted for you fucking idiots. You're proudly burning down your own house. Best of luck you soup brained simpletons.

A can of chili over some cooked rice, add a little salt and extra hot sauce. This was my broke young adult fancy meal.

"According to Health P.E.I.'s website, 50 per cent of knee replacement patients are treated within 368 days, and 90 per cent within 715 days. Health P.E.I. was unable to provide an estimate of how many people are currently waiting for the surgery."

This is unacceptable.

I voted an hour after the early voting polls opened.

International shipping to the USA has slowed dramatically and the word is this is just the beginning. This is extremely rare to see these docs without cargo.

It probably has less to do with tariffs and more about talking about invading Canada.

That and the risk of ending up in an El Salvador death camp.
