I had actually thought about this sort of scenario happening, and wondered the same about a week ago. My conclusion was freeze drying to make powdered eggs that can be shelf stable for years.

Also might end up with a serious market for that as prices continue to climb with no end in sight.

Last I bought powdered egg prior to this recent skyrocketing, it was about a dollar per egg in equivalence. I don't know what it is now, but I'm sure that will go up too.

(I use powdered egg for baking because I just don't go through eggs enough to justify buying fresh. I actually save money by not having to throw away unused product)

I hear its easy, but I've had no luck at all on the most distilled models (for prelim testing), and am wondering how things have broken so badly.

My guess is that too many people put those small bags that don't work with the button in there and burned it.

It's a common trend for people that don't understand that infinite possibilities do not mean every possibility.

The way I usually explain this to people is that the quantity of even number is also infinite, but that doesn't mean you'll ever find a value of three in that infinite range.

Statement false; neither can jump at all.

I've had it happen several times, actually. Almost unilaterally it's due to the other party believing that open source means less secure.

They never care to hear evidence otherwise, either.

I'm not sure how you think critical thinking works. Do you have some sort of magical logic flow that doesn't requiere some base understanding of facts?

Guy trying to sell quartz as "energy enhancing crystals" -> no understanding as to how body energy works -> might be legit, let's give it a try

Guy trying to sell quartz as "energy enhancing crystals" -> knowing that available body energy is dictated by ATP and has nothing to do with crystals -> this smells like a scam

Critical thinking is about being able to apply knowledge of what you know to what you are currently being told. You need some basis of real, provable facts for it, which is why if you had a bio course, you also likely had some lab component to it as well.

Sure, I hear you cry, but all of that information isn't something I need to know basically ever! Well, you're correct, but a fun thing about learning is that the deeper you cut into a subject, the more you remember. You probably wouldn't remember much if the entire unit only said "mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell".

And doing these deep cuts to reinforce the basics of understanding work. There is a reason that "mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" is a meme, and it's because everyone remembers that part, not nessessarily the part that they have their DNA that is always inherented from your mother and is referred to as mDNA.

I hope this helps you to think critically against the continued push against critical thinking, particularly to the claim that what you learned in school has nothing to do with doing it.

Shades of Spooks S8E03, but that had a voting system instead of an active bounty.

Yeah, very handy for bots. People, however, tend to have online identities or personas that they will try to carry forward on account names they create.

Burner accounts notwithstanding, of course.

"The Onion was the highest bidder[...]"

Literally the point of the suit is that The Onion was not the highest bidder. From the article:

The exact bid amount offered by the Onion for InfoWars remains unknown, but it has been reported it was lower than First United American’s bid of $3.5m.

The victims of Jones decided it was better to get less money and not allow the brand to go to one of his allies to continue the usual operations. They are saying that even though they effectively own the brand, that they don't have the right to choose who it's sold to.

There is only one way this should go, but...

I feel like this is an extreme punt, but:

CAULK

As is the waterproofing seals on a (bolting) nut?

More in physical privacy space than the usual post. Whenever I get mail, I shred it before disposal. Whenever I get a package, I black out the label.

But my method for blacking out the labels is basically turning on the gas range and holding the label over it until it turns black. It's not even that good of a method, because I can still see a black-on-black print.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has any better ideas for this sort of thing.
