I’ve been an avid news reader my whole life, and recently experimented with completely avoiding political and mainstream news for the past six months (I still read tech, science and entertainment news)..

At least for me, life has been at 99% less stressful. Anything truly important, someone I know will always tell me. I can’t see myself going back.

What an ironic headline.

When one side plays by the rules and the other side doesn’t, then the side playing by the rules will always lose. That’s a lesson the Democrats are just learning.

What’s important to note is who is willing to break the rules first. That’s your bad guy.

People would start cutting down trees and plants so they could have more. Then that would cause inflation which in turn would cause people to cut more trees and plants. Carbon dioxide would soar, and then we all die.

To me, the ethical thing to do would be to allow people to make their own choices about their own bodies and their own lives, unless the don’t possess the mental ability to do so. Anything else would be unethical.

It seems to be directly from OpenAI. You can find the link when you click on your account dropdown menu on chatgpt.com.

A combination of this and avoiding political news and discussion altogether (as much as I can anyway).

What's the point of reading, discussing and/or arguing when in the end the only thing that matters is your vote (and money/time if you're able and so inclined).

The news tries to rile you up, and all I really need to know is who won once the election happens, until then I'm avoiding it.

I’m not against having multiple options and don’t expect Gnome OS to be identical to Silverblue.

I was just pointing out that a distro with the listed goals of GNOME, Flatpak, Robust, Immutable, Secure, Modern, Flexible and Opinionated already exist in Silverblue.

They have different websites and different prices, but share the same name. Are they related?

i’m doing it because I want to make the fediverse more friendly place, in hopes of making it more welcoming for new users, and the nicer place in general. But I wonder how much is just less bots.
