I agree, I hope the team learned a lot from making this game, so the next time they try to make an rpg, they can make something much better.

If you've played the Momodora games it feels like those. And if you haven't, I also recommend them.

The really low number of skills and how long they each took to perform on top of how beefy most enemies were also did not help.

I feel like having your own instance is a solid first step before adding any kind of integration so they have a controlled feed of content to work with.

Nice, mine is 23. Been using it practically my whole life, though I don't post there anymore.

Exactly. I love backloggery's focus on the games you are currently playing. The games you are playing and the last status you wrote are front and center when you log in and its exactly what I want to see. I can only hope backloggd someday copies it.

I only just migrated from backloggery this year too, so I know how you feel. It was a daunting prospect to manually move my 2000+ game list over, but I got it done. I'm actually updating both still, since it was so much work to setup backloggery in the first place and also serves as a nice backup in case something happens to one of the sites.

The way backloggd lets you write a daily journal entry in a calendar for every game you are playing is so good. Though I miss the homepage on backloggery, that one is still nicer.

Barb has also not figured it out because their sister marrying a bear made perfect sense to them. Bears are strong, clever creatures, who wouldn't want to marry one?

That somehow sounds even worse.

"I’m not disabled, my eyesight is just shit and I don’t know what I’d be willing to do to get normal eyesight. Just to get rid of a pair of glasses."

I apparently would pay someone a large sum of money to zap my eyes with a laser using a giant machine with only the vague promise that after the laser burns heal, your vision will be better.

The first CRISPR gene editing treatment for sickle cell disease was approved. An amazing start to what I hope is a future of cures for various genetic diseases.

I thought it was wild that Oshi no Ko started with a 1.5 hour movie. I wonder if this is a new trend. Either way, to me this speaks of the level of quality they are aiming for in adapting the series, so it makes me more excited for it.

I don't see a way to mark something as a favorite, and when I go to https://kbin.social/fav I don't understand why it is I see the magazine I do which are different from all and subscribed.

As for the top bar, it seems to just be random magazine that sometimes even empty. Is there a way to control what shows up there?
