imo writing is for communication, and especially capitalisation adds very little to how communicative a given text is

lack of capitalisation and dots actually makes me feel more at ease reading something, if anything

makes it feel more casual and the like

i actually prefer the power armor in fallout 4, its more accurate to the lore and feels a lot more imposing and impressive

it coukdve used a lot of balancing though, especially regarding power cores

honestly probably fo4, though its a close match with fo3

the gameplay improvements and loop just entertains me for significantly longer, despite fallout 3 having better atmosphere, and fallout 4 having a lot of issues in practically every part of its design

at least besides far harbor, my beautiful baby boy

im not advocating for things like fifa, cod or NBA, but a~15 year wait between games of the same franchise like elder scrolls is pretty ridiculous

we all know this is nonsense, right? like, the development cycles have gotten so long because theyve just decided that its better that way

this, i despise the focus on polygon and texture counts so goddamn much

games from a decade ago are still popular and still look good, can we please just focus on performance and actual mechanics

the concept of duplicate communities in general seems extremely based in reddit culture in general and seems antithetical to what makes the fediverse interesting- in reality theres no such thing as 'duplicate' communities, and having redundancy, competition and options is nothing but a good thing for user experience

communities with the same name across different instances are ultimately still different communities, regardless of how much overlap there is regarding content or users

needing one of them to 'win', or more importantly, needing all the others to 'lose' seems like arbitrary tribalism for no real reason other than mimicking the reddit experience

appreciate the duplicate communities for what they are or might become- slightly different flavours of the same base concept that you can pick based on which one you vibe with most

history is a flat circle

you continue to use freedom of speech and dont give them the satisfaction of coopting it

76 made me a ton more hopeful for the future of bethesdas franchises than fallout 4 did

every major issue i had with the game was either a result of the dreadful launch, which i doubt they would repeat, or of what the game was trying to be, things that are fundamentally incompatible with their single player story based experiences and therefore not a concern when it comes to said experiences
