I just looked over their site and other than a physical pin, it looked basically the same to me. Can you tell me what seems to be better? Only issue I've ever had with Yubikey was NFC use to log into Bitwarden, but I think it was user error.

Not the best solution, but I use a free Spotify account and IFTTT to pull a list of songs added to certain Spotify playlists, like the new rock one, to a Dropbox TXT file to find new bands. Takes some effort, but let's me see what's coming out.

Ah the ol' Kingsmen ending.

This was my favorite thing about Tom Scott, it never felt like he was trying to pad the runtime for ads/algorithm. If it took 3 min to explain, it was a 3 minute video.

I like what Wendover has going on overall with HAI, Jetlag, etc. but the Wendover channel itself I don't watch as much anymore.

This is where I'm at. The Framework guy was talking about how very few companies are using this AMD deal because the R&D to add it to existing models wasn't very viable, you really only have the Asus Z13 so I feel like being ahead of the game there will be a benefit in the long run as far as their relationship with AMD. Plus they're also doing a 12-in laptop now as well, so it's not like they committed all their resources to this.

I like the restructure around walking, however I'd add in that instead of a good lot of rental cars, better public transport, light rails/subways within metro areas and buses/proper trains for longer distances would be nice. Of course you'll need rental vehicles for some things, but more often than not, I imagine that would cover most bases. And the light rails would provide protection from the elements.

This is usually because they're using a common VPN service. I've found that connecting to Ireland gets me past this prompt more often than not, but that likely won't last long.

As someone earlier mentioned, unihertz has a few models with physical keyboards.

Not alternatives, but the apps I use to see what companies own what and who they donated money to are GoodsUniteUs and Buycott. As far as getting rid of Amazon, depending on where you live and what you're looking for, you might be able to find the store or product on amazon and then go to their website if it isn't some dropship scheme or finding a local place that has an alternative, hard to beat that same day shipping, but might be viable.

It's a flimsy argument but the only thing I can think is the kid thought it was a joke and opened all three to make sure they were indeed all the same
