I 100% agree with this decision. At first I wanted to give Meta a chance, just to get a big player in the Fediverse, but after reading this article it totally changed my views.

I’d say they probably didn’t notice because Reddit has been forcing even niche subs to reopen.

Just tried it and it seems pretty good so far! Only thing I don’t really like is how the keyboard and some other UI elements use light mode even though I have dark mode enabled.

Edit: It's getting fixed now :)
