No it doesn't close changeset on every change, 30 days ago I added 123 house numbers in my city with streetcomplete and all of them were in the same changeset.
And rember Pokemon Go uses osm for their data so you are making an impact on them too.

Because linux doesn't have deprecated opengl, doesn't run their own proprietary api for gpu instead of implementing vulkan and last but not least because linux does still have support for 32bit application.

And don't forget 1:1 gestures and the Crash-Resilient Wayland Compositing that keep the application alive even tho the "compositor" crash, so it does restart without any data loss.
Edit: forgot to mention the lockscreen protocol, because on xorg if the lockscreen crash then you view the desktop and you have the device unlocked!
Since April I decided that I don't want to use Instagram anymore, but I still need for some use case so I cannot delete the account entirerly, and I decided to delete all the interation I had in the platform, but for some unknown reason if I go and remove the like from the interaction section and I try to do it another time (because funny enough instagram limit how many likes you can delete at the same time) it doesn't let you do that, even if you wait minutes after the first one, and it doesn't let you do that even if you go in a random post and click on the heart button manually, and this is not a today thing because I tried to do soo 3 days ago and instagram did the same thing.
