I like the comment collapse feature. It's nice to be able to quickly collapse a long comment group. I've clicked on links before without a problem.

Defederating would block the entire lemmit.online instance, including all their communities and users. Banning the bot would only block the one user account. According to their FAQs though there is currently only the one user so it would have the same effect, but they might make other user bots in the future.

I was able to just block the user but I had to do it from the desktop site. Blocking wasn't working for me from any of the apps at the time. Login on the website and click on the bot username then there will be a Block User button from their page. You won't see their posts anymore from the website or the app your using.

A real pillow, like the thermarest compressible foam pillow. Not an air filled pillow. I need a proper pillow for a good sleep.

Oh, Maybe I was thinking more of r/wildernessbackpacking, r/campingandhiking, or r/hikingcanada type subs. When I say I’m going to the backcountry I mean hiking and camping, but I also don’t live near mountains so it’s probably more regional to me. Maybe that’s why I never subscribed to r/backcountry, it’s just been so long since I joined a bunch of subs I can’t remember. I think it would be good to have a separate summer vs winter community.

I was excited for a backcountry sub but I see it’s just for winter skiing and snowboarding. That name is kind of confusing. I was hoping it was for backcountry camping and hiking like on Reddit.

Like trying too hard to stay alive? Lol
You hike exactly how I hike. I find poles keep my hands raised and prevents swelling, I hate the sun in my eyes and always wear a hat, and I get dehydrated very easily and always have my hydration pack accessible for instant water while I hike. I think only the ones that seem obviously unprepared for the hike may get questioned looks. But hike your own hike.

I can’t find any of my outdoor communities such as r/campingandhiking, r/backpacking, r/hikingcanada, r/wildernessbackpacking, r/nationalpark
