Classic Warbringer. And like any Warbringer post, fewer than 5 upvotes lmao

Coincidentally I was thinking of posting a song by them too very soon, but I delay that for a bit.

Aggressive modern thrash band from Greece! Taking heavy inspiration from Kreator and the antichristian themes of Slayer. My pick is probably their catchiest song to me upon first listen.

Holy cow these guys are corny, like it's really hard to take this seriously lmao

A thrasher beating up an emo kid after laying waste to a goth xD and these lyrics wtf

Good thing the music is fire! (hurr hurr)

Those vocals are not what I was expecting with that guitar tone xD definitely havent heard this one before.

I'm staring to think that maybe I do like crossover, at least the bands that are infused with something extra, more extreme. Like Black Metal! lol

Idk what it is but Vader or their record label seems to hate some of their stuff - they pulled a bunch of really old demos that were really good for what they were plus the re recorded a lot of old stuff with a modern sound. Makes no sense to me.

By far my absolute favorite output from Vader. This highly energetic and fast paced EP is basically 4 songs, each less than 4 minutes, but the speed and riffing is intense. My gift to you all today.

Youtube, Bandcamp (there is only this "single" for sale with one song from the EP and a few from their later album Impressions in Blood), RateYourMusic, Encyclopaedia Metallum

Was super surprised to see you had not uploaded any Exciter, like at all xD

When I used to be a "genwunner" it was Gengar all the way cuz I was the weird kid into ghosts and shit.

Nowadays my absolute fav is Whimsicott, cuz it's cute n fluffy and I love it's battle cry, plus it's annoying af competitvely.

Extra upload today brought to you by this Canadian Speed Metal debut in 1983! Good old shit \m/

Can't find an official Bandcamp, or official website; it seems they only use twatter and fakebook. :/

Opener to these crossover punks' 4th album. Fun tone and interesting time changes played over a recorded live crowd, just for that extra bit of atmosphere. Not sure about the rest of the album though, but I do like this track.

And it's ~~Norwegian~~ Black Metal.

Edit: whoopsie, I shouldve known especially given my posting history lmfao. Dont post hastily while working, folks.

Today's pick is imo one of the better tracks on Countdown, the closer to the album that follows their taste of success. Awesome solos in this one with the riffing to match. Mustaine's vocal delivery is still.. unique, but definitely less cringey than Sweating Bullets lol.

Haven't thought of Atheist in a hot minute, was wondering why this album was sounding so familiar.

Perfectly encapsulates your unique tastes too, Serp xD

Woah I've been sleeping on Onslaught, thanks for the post. Shame they look like ICP here tho lmao

Some old school pissed off thrash today. These guys' debut album was also originally released as Illusions, but was re-issued as "Chemical Exposure" by Roadrunner Records. Sucks that the drummer was physically abusive later on, story came out recently as of last year.

Was only just made aware of this awesome modern Teutonic Thrash band and their 2022 release, a collection of homages to sci-fi nerd culture (Star Trek, X-files, Metroid series), and also to thrash metal itself! My pick to share today, however, is a cheeky one lol. I also love non thrash songs being thrashified xD. Let's just fucking infuse the entire world with thrash metal!!!

I remember this one being pretty banging when Worm Infested came out xD great post!

Goregrind version of a Metallica classic with all the fat trimmed off, literally lol. I feel it misses something but it's still a solid 3 min and a half track.

I remember really getting into this album when it came out at the time. Still pretty decent, it's an earworm that finds its way through random thoughts and memories as I do my mundane business throughout the day randomly lol. Anyway, here's the title track as my pick for the day. Catchy and a bit groovy, and another awesome solo.

I'm just gonna say this straight, I'm not a fan of Lich King. I'm also not a fan of like maybe 80% of crossover (the crossover tracks I've posted are obvious exceptions). But this song is pretty alright, it's just good fun. Like a slice of hot melty pizza on a carefree afternoon, but the kind from a pizza place that offers a "pepperoni" pizza, but there's only like six or seven slices on it. This song is the slice that happened to catch two pieces of pepperoni lol.

Remember Slayer's Show No Mercy?? That's essentially the vibes this band brings to the table; released only one full length album and it's just rearranged Show No Mercy lol.
