I'm 99% sure that signal isn't peer to peer. Afaik all messages go through signal's servers, but they're end to end encrypted so the server can't see message contents, or who the messages are coming from.

The only thing that's peer to peer are calls, but you can turn on 'Always relay calls' from settings to relay them through Signal's servers.

I don't think a jump like you're doing is enough to make that gap. You'll need a little more momentum, which you can get by jumping from the left side of the platform instead of the right.

This video (6:30 in) shows you the way I find most consistent to do it. iirc it's way easier with 2 jump buttons (one button for each jump, and don't let go of the first button until after you get the jump).

You gotta do the whole level without dashing.

I think if you dash by accident, you can pause > retry, and as long as you didn't make any progress (screen transition), the berry will still be there.

Probably best to unbind the dash button tho

There isn't any berry here in chapter 2. The only berry in this room is the winged golden

If you go to the View Safety Number page of a chat, you'll see that they're changing the safety numbers. Here's the explanation they gave.

Image: Why are safety numbers being updated? //The legacy safety number format depended on phone numbers. The new safety number format does not. //In order to support upcoming features like usernames, where you will be able to start a conversation using someone's Signal username without necessarily knowing their phone number, the way that safety numbers are generated needs to be updated too. //On a technical level, the legacy safety number format is a numeric hash of the associated phone numbers and public keys. Instead of using phone numbers, the new safety number format is a numeric hash of the associated account IDs and public keys. //The set of public keys that are verified during the comparison process is exactly the same.

I'm glad to see progress is being made! I wonder if after usernames are added people will use it to message people on the internet, like discord is used.

What method of producing meat that doesn't emit greenhouse gases do you propose?

"Consumption doesn't emit greenhouse gases, production does", that doesn't really make sense. If no one consumed meat one year, much less meat would be produced the next year, leading to less greenhouse gases.

Are you sure? See [email protected]

It has 585 subscribers as seen from the original instance, but literature.cafe only has 162 users. How is that possible?

Also, if I unsub and resub to communities I can see the subscribed number going up and down in the instance where the community is hosted.

Lemmy's subscriber user count is usually wrong.

You only see the true number if the community is on your instance

Check the community from the original instance to see the actual number of subscribers

If you're searching for instances, you should use https://lemmyverse.net/communities since it lets you quickly compare subscribers, shows you more results and also is just better overall

Couldn't find any mods for doing that, sorry.

Some mods (like strawberry jam) let you save your progress when exiting to lobby. Maybe you saw that?

Interesting. On my client (Eternity) both the picture from Reddit and the picture from gify.nou.cz load. On the Lemmy website only the Reddit image loads.

Yeah, just upload pictures in the post body. Like you do in comments you can do it in the post text as well.

Image: Sign that says "Go Away! No Mushroom Hunting. Mine! They are ALL mine!

Lemmy has a way of doing it automatically, but if you want to do it manually the formatting is

OP is a Mastodon user.

Mastodon doesn't actually have communities built in, so if you want to post in a Lemmy community you have to @ the community. (That means that there's a decent chance this post was an accident, since linking to a community and posting to a community is the same on mastodon)
