Let's wait and see how many people post a comment without actually visiting the website…

This is just like that one Gumball episode, but with a banana on the screen instead of an orange.

Well, I guess they had good intentions, at least?

This response coming from a Christian, let me try to answer this in a bullet point list:

  • they're strict;
  • they don't celebrate birthdays, or don't do anything they believe it's associated with paganism;
  • they're strict;
  • they knock on people's doors with a strict dress code to make more people join in;
  • they're also around the world, as missionaries;
  • have I mentioned they're strict?

thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Don't take what I said as fact and do your own research.

why so eepy? (lemmy.eco.br)

What I mean by that is that I see many posts by transfems about how they feel "eepy" and it feels to a point where they would hibernate if they could. Why so many memes about feeling sleepy are posted?

Estou fazendo esta postagem pelo navegador Vivaldi no Android, pela interface padrão. Percebo que as outras não carregam ou estão demorando uma eternidade para carregar. A única que funciona é a old.lemmy.eco.br. Alguém mais está tendo este problema?

Hello! Does anyone has any recommendations for a to-do list app? I would like one that had a widget for the home screen, that shows my tasks or reminders, so I can see them every time. Not to be confused with a widget to write a note. It doesn't needs to be open-source, but that would be very appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Most of the posts that are frequently featured in the homepage are about social problems or styles of life common to that country (or most first world countries), and even limit to only United-Statesian media discussion. They do not appeal to someone like me, who has different thoughts, different people, different problems. It's hard to find something relatable in (most) non-local communities, because it's just about this style of culture. It doesn't helps with the poor website discorverability, making me limited to these same repetitive and unfunny posts.

For those who don't know, it's a browser extension that marks a link to a group or person determined by how they act towards trans people.

I personally like this concept, but after reading the reviews on its Firefox add-ons page, it let me a bit worried. I found a Reddit post with one person commenting that someone marked their friends' blog as unwelcoming due to personal beef. On that same post, people were writing about how they used it just as a "suggestion".

So, returning to the question in the title, do you personally find this extension reliable/usable? Does it could have anything that should be worked better?
