Sorry, you didn't articulate well which thing you were being snarky about. But I'm done engaging with you, because you are unpleasant.

Which is the cause and which is the effect?

My family fostered, and had 3 children from the same woman, one after another over the years. I lived it, so maybe educate yourself about the world before correcting me. We don't live in a good world, no matter how much you want to believe it.

Parents who abuse or kill one child often go on to harm another, yet the U.S. lacks a national system to prevent them from having or regaining custody of future children. Despite prior terminations of parental rights, many go on to reoffend, a systemic failure in child protection.

I'm a logical thinker, no team, solving logic puzzles for 30 years. Everybody else is wrong about most of what they believe. I do what I can.

Every president is doing this. That's why it was a bad statement. And with our congress being so shitty, I'm more concerned about actual effects on the world right now, legality has been irrelevant for 50+ years. People don't see how close evil is to winning. The entire world could be like NK in a few decades if trends continue. This is not a game.

Draconian laws have the effect of turning abuse into murder. On the other hand, we absolutely need to be castrating abusive parents. Break the skull of your infant, it gets taken away, have another one. Over and over. This society is so damn ignorant.

++reasonsToDoIt

They have an army of donkeys lined up at the border. etc

Well they were less evil back then.. now I think we should cut off all support. And I think we probably would stop the donations, if it wasn't for Iran being allied with Ruzzia.

A conscience is what we need to make the tough choices and prevent another NK

Digg was my favorite website of all time, what people today can't experience is just how good the community was. I think that was due to the reputation system they used. A sufficiently advanced reputation system would fix a lot of problems with social media, with less censorship.

I have previously created a dating site, social network, custom forums, meetup-like event service, local classifieds, and a few video games. A few years ago as part of a 12-startups-in-12-months effort, I created a basic Digg-like site, livefilter.com. This doesn't have the reputation system yet, but that would be the eventual goal. My first focus was on an efficient, fast, smooth experience. For example, videos play instantly, full screen.

It didn't get much traction, so I haven't worked on it in a while. I haven't touched it in 3 years. What do you think, does it have promise, or should I give up? If people are interested and it becomes active, I'll work on it more.
