I'm thinking a lot of the equipment is different as well, and since they mention simulating equipment malfunctions, that plays an important part, especially with the additional limitations/simulated dangers.

I guess that depends on what you consider reasonable. I figure if they're starting with simulations such as this now, it's reasonable to expect an actual manned mission in maybe 20 years.

Really interesting read and cool to be able to see the exact gear and settings that were used for each shot. The portraits seem super bland to me but I guess that's what you want for such things, very vanilla, very clean. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting, I'm also on MIUI 12.5 but I'm using Brave. Not really willing to change my browser for this, so I'll just wait. Thanks for the info, though!

It fails at respecting my screen's orientation lock on Android, so when in bed it kept rotating to landscape and that was extremely annoying, so had to remove it.

I haven't been able to find any info of this online, no one else complaining or asking, so I figured I'd try my luck here with you fine folk.

I'm currently playing Escape Academy online co-op with a friend, however now that we've gotten to a level called The Arena, the games seem to go out of sync from one another, to the point were it becomes unplayable. Essentially, my game shows me he is doing one thing (mostly clipping everywhere) while in reality he is doing something else (interacting with stuff or whatever).

None of the previous levels (about 8) have had this issue, and this problem has persisted over a few days, and about 10 attempts to get through the level.

Anybody know anything about this? Any suggestions on what I could do?

Would anybody else be interested in participating in a weekly challenge of sorts?

I'd be happy to establish some sort of theme every week and it might be a fun way to populate this magazine and get to know each other and our styles.

Let me know your thoughts and if more than a handful of us are into it, I'll get that going.

First of all, I don't even know if this is the place to ask, but I couldn't find anywhere else that made sense...

Second, Kbin looks amazing, definitely the best out of the fediverse, however there are still things I cannot for the life of me find in the UI.

  1. Where can I see a list of the magazines I'm subscribed to? A list, not posts from.
  2. Why do the thumbnails for posts appear distorted? The have incorrect aspect ratio. Is there a way to fix this?
  3. Where can I see a list of local communities?
  4. How is microblogging handled differently from other types of posts? Do they all show up on the home page?

EDIT: #5 I don't seem to get any notifications of any sort, visual or otherwise, that I have received responses to a post or comment. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

I have many more, but any help with those for now would be amazing.
