Most of the food comes from fast food along stroads. It is a core part of the problem. The education system is probably the root, but I wouldn't expect a tourist to understand that.
Nothing beats a cheeseburger. Btw, it's not cheeseburgers making us fat, for the most part. It's soda, and low quality food products with excess sugar and refined carbs.

Bill Gates Foundation does some good. His foundation is mostly a gigantic tax shelter though. For him, it's like an unlimited IRA. Society would be better if he simply had less money, less influence, and less control.

There will always be issues with Wikipedia, but overwhelmingly it is a useful and reliable resource. Also, "its sources" are any reputable journalism from around the world.
Duh? A corporation is purely a legal construct. We've had 150 years of expansion of their legal status and they run the country as a result. A corporation is essentially the functional unit of our society. Individuals really don't matter and have limited rights. If you don't have money, your rights, while still codified, cannot be substantiated in court and therefore effectively don't exist.
