Trump sure as hell is only signing those EOs because of the titles they put on them. This fucking guy can barely read at a fifth grade level. Sure, he put the guys in charge of things that he wants or thinks he does cause they suck up to him. He's a fucking moron.

The local models are distilled versions of Qwen or llama or whatever else, not really deepseek's model. So you get refusals based on the base model primarily, plus whatever it learned from the distilling. If it's Qwen or another Chinese model then it's more likely to refuse but a llama model or something else could pick it up to a lesser extent.

When hedge funds decide to flip the switch on something the reaction never looks rational. Meta was green today ffs.

Treat them as though they are a bot on a social media app trying to scam you and the illusion will quickly dispell. They are basic, flawed technology that only exists to get you hooked. Thinking about that during a conversation with one will have you notice all the plot holes in their logic.

They will always twist their logic to give you an answer they think you'll like. That's how they're trained, on the rating of how much users liked their reply to a similar question. This makes them agreeable and likeable, though shallow, like someone who'll agree with everything you say because you're paying them to be your friend.

I've been using the app on breaks at work at nearly half the rate I had been using RIF. Here we see that it still used about 2x the data in roughly the same time period.

The app's great. The bugs are getting hammered out and Lemmy's great too. Can you look into doing some optimising soon?

Edit: To be more specific. RIF used just over 1gig over 10 days of browsing during breaks. Most months hit about 2-2.5 gigs. While connect used 2gigs in 6 days.
