Belkin should be forced to unlock these devices and provide enough data for an open-source firmware to be developed.

Kinetic Yellow.

Illegal in some countries because that sort of colour is reserved for Emergency Vehicles.

I wanted to join Team Tennis Ball when I purchased my Jimny, but decided that Team Latte was a much better team to be on.

The reason why the Jimny (Samurai) was discontinued in the US was due to Consumer Reports corrupting their testing procedures due to corporate pressure.

The fact that a Jimny will not survive being hit by an oversized Truck reflects more poorly on the society that is normalising driving oversized Trucks than on the Jimny.

The SLATE Truck looks interesting. It is an EV from a new upstart.

The have an interesting sales model but they are backed by Bezos so they are probably more financially stable that Tesla.

Dear Australian Government, take note. Dear ASIO, please ignore.

When we moved in, we had a two car garage and three cars. (Actually a few project cars in the back yard, but they don’t count). The land developer did not permit three car garages

Now I have two adult nieces and one nieces boyfriend and their extra three cars. We also have one camper trailer that used to fit in the back yard, but someone installed a roof-top-tent on it and now doesn’t even fit in the garage.

Fortunately, I have two very accomodating neighbours.

We also have one neighbour who did drive a RAM 2500, but decided to downsize to a normal sized vehicle because they couldn’t get their vehicle out of the street because of all the P-Plater cars that were inconsiderately parked in the street.

My neighbour who is a painter has a Renault Kangoo.

An old Falcon Ute is overkill.

Even home owners need to fight to get Zero Energy homes built.

8 years ago, we had a builder (who was offering free Powerwalls with every build) who refused to follow basic guidelines.

We ended up having to escalate our complaint to the CEO of the company for fired the two Site Supervisors who were not being helpful.

  • tried bait-and-switching a Electric Assist hot water service in lieu of a fully electric heat-pump hot water service
  • installed a dark (woodland grey) colorbond roof instead of a light (surfmist) colorbond roof.
  • short-supplied insulation.
  • tried to install Reverse-cycle evaporators on the North side of the house.
  • etc.

This is evidence that the US political system does not function.

There are two paths forward;

  • Burn down the entire thing (which Trump and frenemies are currently doing).
  • rebuild and reform the existing system (which can happen by voters voting for progressive centralist candidates in local and state representatives en-mass (like in NYC).

I would not call Zohran Mandani a socialist. I would call him a progressive rational centralist.

The government gets kickbacks.

Aussies can avoid illegal gambling by saving their money and not gambling at all.

Brainwashing can only go so far. At some point, (such as targeting civilian children) any sane soldier will crack and say “No”.

He can’t monetise on PeerTube. He will be able to get sponsors, but YouTube revenue will dry up.

After a “mud incident”, I need to re-grease one of my seat tracks.

Any idea which lubricant would be best for this? It is a toss-up between lithium grease or silicon spray.

Considering that the VIN number needs to be inspected and verified for each vehicle during the entire Import/Compliance/Distribution/Delivery process, this is a pretty big balls-up.

Apparently, 90% of caravans are overloaded in QLD.

New Caravan owners also don’t know how to tow.

What are peoples’ opinions of the new Victorian distracted driving rules?

My interpretation is that they are more lenient than the previous rules in some ways but much more onerous in others.

Mueller River Campground has 5 vehicle-accessible sites, 3 pedestrian-access sites. Each site has access to the inlet beach for canoeing, fishing and swimming.

The nearby Thurra River Campground is not currently accessible due to fires and floods taking out the bridge.
