My sincerest wish is that he waits until most of the way through a trial before providing an incontrovertible alibi.

Whether he is playing role as a body double for some someone else, or just a grifter, I hope it happens.

'for life' is a pretty tall order for shoes, but with available refurbishing, I have had two (identical) pair of Mephisto cap-toe shoes for... About 22 years?

Both have been sent back, rebuilt and returned more than once.

Also, about as comfortable as running shoes. If you are stuck in a suits-required career field, do yourself a favor.

You have made a very good case here that resonates strongly with me

Where is rhe line between "us" and "them"?

Is it leftist vs liberal? Lib vs conservative?

No. It's all of "us" vs the them that are in the 1%

GYB is very powerful and flexible, and I've used it to manipulate Gmail accounts in the hundreds of gigabytes.

The community is decently supportive, but of course it is a command line tool so some familiarity with the shell is useful.

Because.......

Grandpa Joe worked with the mob rum-running, in order to amass the family fortune, and fhey in turn delivered several major cities in the election, but then JFK let RFK Bobby loose on an aggressive anti-racketeering rampage

Among other reasons ofc

I've tended to score suspiciously high on most aptitude/iq type tests my entire life (70s kid, among the earliest ADD diagnoses, etc) and tbh i think I am quite a lot dumber than those tests imply.

Show of hands all y'all "talented and gifted" kids that never did nuthin ...

*edit: to be clear, I don't think 'raw intelligence' or anything similar necessarily confers a lot of life benefits. It can, but doesn't always or maybe even most of the time.

from: http://www.thebikecomesfirst.com/the-raleigh-vektar/

The Vektar, the worlds first computer bike, was launched in 1985 long before we had health and safety laws. Equipped with ‘micro chip technology’ the rider could see how fast they were going, how far they had gone and how long they had been riding for at the touch of a button. The head’s down display ensured that you would ride into the back of your mate or a kerb as you fiddled with the control panel.

If that wasn’t enough you could listen to the radio on one of the three AM preset stations either while riding the bike or parked up hanging out with their pals. Later models came with a MW tuner giving even less crappy sound quality.

The main feature though was the advanced warning and alarm system. Once you had chosen one of the eight sounds from the ‘revolutionary sound generator’ on the top tube mounted control panel, you could use the handlebar mounted controller to terrorise old ladies as you rallied around the housing estate
