Is that $2.89 gas?

Man, people just keep installing these sorts of things and then finding out they're shit. I wonder how many hundreds of millions this one will end up costing?

Well, for starters the billboard is only about 15' tall and goes over the road. That's not normal. Everything has a odd inconsistent blurry look to it and all of the smaller text is distorted and illegible.

Finally, the details on... well everything are wrong. Why does the white truck in the foreground have one giant door with a handle in the middle and a second handle on the truckbed? What is the traffic flow in this image? How many lanes does the road have? Why are all the lamps on the top of the billboard pointed so weirdly? What sort of neighborhood is this in?

What a shock... the social media site who's admin's supported the Jailbait subReddit (until they were publicly shamed for it) are actually a bunch of assholes. How surprising.

I have to give Musk credit for at least one thing, I can wake up in the morning and say to my self "At least I'm not as pathetic as the richest man on Earth" and honestly.... I feel good about that. I mean, my life isn't going great, but when I look at Mush, I can say "At least I'm not that bad"

Literally just a shakedown "Give me money via advertising or give me money via lawsuit" and you know that Mush will lean on all his new government buddies to make sure he wins.

It’s like they only know one word.

I've noticed that too.

It's like they've got only one go-to insult and then it just vanishes and there's a new one. Like it was cuck just a few years back, soyboy before that... and probably way more that I'm forgetting. But it seems like they go from "I must use in every post!" to it being almost forgotten and instead they must use a new putdown is in every post. And it happens in the space of... like two or three months. It's eerie.

I'm sure "woke" will go the way of the dodo in a few years and conservatives will be calling everyone "compassi-traitors" or something.

Heh. Well as a 3+ generation citizen I'm sure glad that will never be pointed at me!

And because it's necessary in this day and age, /s

It is so obvious Mush knew what he was doing. He was positively bursting with that fifth grade "I'm going disrupt the whole class with this outburst" energy.

And then you get to the grossness of the billionaires grinning and cheering in the background while he did it.

Since there is no thread about this on Lemmy, I figured I may as well make one in case someone hadn't heard about it.

Anyway, a new app called Netpass has been released that allows Streetpass over the internet. The app is still kinda rough, a few games like Tomodachi Life have a minor bugs, but for the most part it works almost exactly like if you conventionally streetpassed someone.

So I was browsing SteamDB.info looking at the various games on sale when I noticed there were a bunch of games (usually from the publisher Hede, but there's quite a few others) listed as having a discount in the high nineties, yet still costing in the neighborhood of 30-50 dollars. Even odder when I go to the game's Steam, it's not listed as being on sale and costs the... "normal" price of $99.99.

I'm just wondering A) What the scam is here, B) How a SteamDB.info is getting $99.99 dollar game as costing 30-ish dollars when it's 97% off but at the same time it's apparently not actually on sale?
