In 2000 years humanity is guaranteed to have regressed to pre-Industrial levels due to complete societal and environmental collapse.

Once this ongoing collapse (actively happening today) finishes, humanity will never again develop any technology. All natural resources remaining would be too deep in the Earth to reach without needing modern equipment. The coal mines and ore veins humans used to get into the industrial age no longer exist.

Hey fam, I’ve been dispatching riders to the East but three different cities have been completely ghosting me.

I just wanted to tell them about the hilarious caravan of nomads I kicked out of the palace. Some warlord named “Temu Jin” sent them so I took their stuff and shaved their beards. Probably another Kara Qhitai joker laying yet another claim to Khwarazm.
